Venture Capital Investments
The Venture Capital Investments Department is a team within Sönmez Hukuk Law Firm dedicated exclusively to this field. For this reason, it is one of the rare working groups in Turkey where the knowledge requiring expertise specific to the field of venture capital investments is available in a compiled form.
Sönmez Hukuk mainly manages all legal processes to ensure that its venture capital fund and angel investor clients' investments are carried out smoothly within the scope of their related activities.
Our main area of practice is the drafting and negotiation of all agreements required by our clients, especially in their investment processes, including advising on the establishment of funds.
In this context, the following services are provided by our office to venture capital investors, including but not limited to:
- Preparation of all standard documentation required for investment activities to be designed specifically for the client,
- Revising contracts from third parties in case of co-investment or investment under another lead investor,
- Conducting legal reviews that may be required before and during the relevant investment transactions;
- Preparation, negotiation and revision of investment agreements and execution of closing processes.
